What this is
Every spell in Astrological Magic has a working sheet. Every line has a pact. Both are printed, and both sit in front of you while you work: the sheet for a single petition, the pact for a covenant you renew each month.
A file assumes you already know three things: which line the problem belongs to, which planetary hour you are working in, and how a petition is written and delivered. None of that is printed on the page, because none of it changes from working to working. It is set out once, in the book.
Two ways to work a line
A spell sheet is written, worked at the elected hour, and burned.
A pact is established once and then renewed on the first occurrence of the planetary day in every month, in the planetary hour. Twelve renewals in a year. The pact is spoken thirty-six times.
It is kept by returning. Neglect weakens it, and two missed months means establishing it again from the beginning.

Before you choose
If you aim at success as a cloudy concept, the result is also cloudy. You get a compliment instead of a promotion, or attention from the wrong people. Decide which governor holds jurisdiction, then speak to that one.
Complex situations need more than one line. A career shift can want Crown for recognition, Midas for financial increase, and Oracle for timing. The rule is simple: if you are softening someone with Venus, do not fire Mars at them in the same cycle.
