What the phase does to this station

Batn al-Hut is the last station, and the cycle turns over into the first from here. The phase decides what you carry across.

    New Moon

The quietest arrival. Complete it, then let the next cycle begin in the dark without ceremony.

    Waxing

Gather. Draw the scattered pieces in while the light is still building toward the harvest.

    Full Moon

The harvest under full light. The completion that deserves to be seen, and the strongest use of the station.

    Waning

Receive and release together. Take what is being handed to you, then let the cycle close.

The station sets the direction. The phase sets how much force to apply.A good phase will not rescue a station that resists what you are doing.

    The current

Batn al-Hut takes its name from the head of Andromeda, which the Arabs saw as a fish, the surrounding stars forming its body with the mouth open wide. The traditional image is a great fish swimming freely, accompanied by smaller fish, while a fisherman in a small boat casts his net into the water.

This is the last station of the cycle. After twenty-seven stations of beginning and building, connecting and dissolving, protecting and releasing and harvesting, the Moon arrives here at the end of her path and the start of it again. It is the station of completion that is also the station of return. The fish knows the whole of its waters. It has swum every part of them. It is not lost. It is home.

The stars here carry the nature of Venus alone. After all the complex pairings of the other stations, Saturn and Mars and Mercury and Jupiter in their various combinations, the final one returns to a single note. Love, beauty, and the desire that is also recognition. What it governs is culmination, harvest, and the joy of a long established partnership, and none of that is accidental in the last station. The completion here is the completion of the whole passage.

    The natal current of arrival

Batn al-Hut gives a current of culmination, harvest and safe completion. Those born under it may live through cycles that draw things together, and may be asked to receive what has been long in motion. This station often brings the moment when the scattered pieces gather.

The gift is completion with meaning. They bring matters home, and understand the final stage of a process better than the beginning. The shadow is absence at the moment of arrival, where some people miss what they have been waiting for.

A Natal Mansion Reading confirms your station from your birth chart, reads it against the condition of your Moon at birth, and gives you every date it returns over the next twelve months.
