Al-Jabhah
The BrowObstruction removed. Healing and attraction in one movement.
Favoured
- Clearing what has hardened between two people. The misunderstanding that calcified, the distance that became habit.
- Beginning treatment, or supporting a recovery that has been resistant.
- Deepening a long partnership after a hard period.
- Reinforcing a structure rather than replacing it.
- Old hurt that never found its way to resolution.
Resisted
- Manufacturing attraction where none exists. This station removes what blocks a thing that is already there.
- Trying to heal what refuses repair.
- Pretending the difficulty never happened. This is the recovery difficulty makes possible, not the recovery that skips it.

What the phase does to this station
Al-Jabhah is the recovery that difficulty makes possible. The phase decides whether you are removing the block or building on the clearing.
New Moon
Begin the repair privately, with one person, before it becomes a conversation anyone else is part of.
Waxing
Draw the warmth back. Reach out, begin the treatment, deepen the bond. The strongest use of the station.
Full Moon
What was in the way becomes visible to both of you. Good, if you are ready to look at it together.
Waning
Remove rather than build. This is the phase for taking out the obstruction itself, which is often all that was needed.
The station sets the direction. The phase sets how much force to apply.A good phase will not rescue a station that resists what you are doing.
The current
Al-Jabhah takes its name from the forehead of the constellation Leo, the stars forming the lion's brow, including Regulus, the Heart of the Lion and one of the four royal stars of the ancient world. Regulus carries the nature of Mars and Jupiter together, which is one of the most auspicious combinations in the tradition. Mars gives the force. Jupiter gives the expansiveness and the quality of fortune that opens rather than closes.
Where Al-Tarf brought the approach of difficulty and the instruction to stop and see clearly, the tenth station is the return. Sadness ebbs. Power comes back. The love and friendship the ninth resisted become available again. It does not erase what the ninth brought. It responds to it. This is the recovery that difficulty makes possible, not the recovery that pretends the difficulty never happened.
The traditional image is the head of a lion, which in this canon becomes a queen crowned with the lion's mane, her expression one of returned authority. It is not aggressive the way Al-Dabaran's war horse is aggressive. It is the face of something that knows its own strength without needing to demonstrate it. The station does not manufacture attraction where none exists. It removes what has been blocking the attraction that was already there.
The natal current of attraction and repair
Al-Jabhah gives a current of romantic attraction, healing and the removal of blocks. Those born under it may be drawn into situations where love has become blocked, cold or wounded. Their task is often to soften what has hardened.
The gift is restoration. They reopen warmth, attract attention without force, and sense the hidden obstruction in love or in recovery. The shadow is trying to heal what refuses repair.
A Natal Mansion Reading confirms your station from your birth chart, reads it against the condition of your Moon at birth, and gives you every date it returns over the next twelve months.
