- Naming a connection that has been circling for months.
- Resolving a dispute, a legal matter or a competition in your favour.
- Formalising a partnership.
- Ordinary overland travel that should be uneventful.
- The move you have been waiting for the right moment to make.

When the Moon is next here
What the phase does to this station
Al-Nathrah opens the relational arc at the height of the Moon's power. The phase decides what that height is spent on.
New Moon
Commit privately. The decision made between two people before anyone else is told.
Waxing
The strongest use. Name it, formalise it, enter the contest. Both the bond and the victory build on a growing Moon.
Full Moon
The light shows the bond for what it is. It can deepen a connection. It can also reveal the contest inside one.
Waning
Conclude rather than commit. Settle the dispute, close the matter, or end cleanly what has genuinely reached its end.
The station sets the direction. The phase sets how much force to apply.A good phase will not rescue a station that resists what you are doing.
The current
Al-Nathrah takes its name from a gap in the stars of Cancer, the space between two small clusters that the Arabs saw as the nostrils of the great lion. The Moon enters Cancer here and begins the second quarter of her cycle at the height of her power.
The traditional image is a figure with the head of a man and the body of an eagle, an unusual combination and a deliberate one. The eagle is conquest and aerial power. The head governs it. In this canon she is a queen with eagle wings, her intelligence directing a power that could otherwise become pure predation. The image captures what this station requires: victory governed by reason.
This is the station of victory, and the tradition assigns it that quality across every source and every period. But victory here is not only about prevailing in conflict. The eighth station governs love and deep bonding with equal weight, because both are expressions of the same underlying force: the moment when conditions align to produce a definitive outcome. The contest resolves. The bond deepens. Both are forms of arrival.
The natal current of bonding and victory
Al-Nathrah gives a current of deep union, alliance and contest. Those born under it may experience life through bonds that strengthen them, and also face situations where victory matters.
The gift is loyal force. They formalise alliances, win contests when the cause is clear, and hold a relationship through pressure. The shadow is pressing victory too far, until a bond becomes a battlefield.
A Natal Mansion Reading confirms your station from your birth chart, reads it against the condition of your Moon at birth, and gives you every date it returns over the next twelve months.
